Abstract

Johnny Conga has brought together some of the Best Pacific Northwest-USA musicians for his 3rd CD release- OYE!/LISTEN!. This music is Latin Jazz at it's best. Included also are 2 folkloric Afro-Cuban drum interpretations, with Johnny playing it all. Johnny Conga has been a performing musician for 48 years and counting. He has toured the world and worked with many famous Grammy winning Artists, Sergio Mendes,Gloria Estefan,Eddie Palmieri, to name a few. Johnny Conga is also an Educator and has been teaching how to play the conga drum for over 25 years and counting, having taught thousands of people from around the world...He now teaches online.
