Abstract: | Born in Venice in 1671,Tomaso Albinoni was destined very Young to music.His first teachers are un known,but the exceptional quality of his first group of “Sonate a tre” (1679) reveals the influence of the masters, such as vitali and corelli.Besides the numerous scores he wrote for violin,albinoni enriched the venetian lyric scene with some fifty works.He quickly became known outside of Italy,and his operas were perfomed in Berlin,Viena… Unfortunately,not a single one of his operas has come down to us intact,only separate arias and librettos remain.His instrumental works, on the other hand, have survived. |
